What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is an ancient practice revitalized for the modern world. Imagine a space where there are no judgments, no restrictions, and no rules. Get ready to unleash your inner dancer, release stress, and tap into your true essence.

This is a sacred space for self-expression, exploration, and connection through movement. It transcends the conventional boundaries of dance, as it is not about learning choreography or impressing others. It is solely focused on embodying the music, connecting with your feelings, and letting your body move freely.

The Transformative Benefits of Ecstatic Dance
1. Physical and Emotional Release: Ecstatic Dance is a dynamic form of exercise that allows you to release pent-up emotions, stress, and tension. As you surrender to the rhythm, you'll experience a profound sense of liberation, helping to alleviate anxiety and providing an outlet for emotional expression.
2. Mind-Body Connection: Through Ecstatic Dance, you'll cultivate a deep mind-body connection, as the music guides your movements and breath. This heightened awareness facilitates a state of presence and mindfulness, grounding you in the present moment and fostering a sense of inner peace.
3. Increased Energy and Vitality: Dance is a powerful way to boost your energy levels and enhance your overall vitality. The dynamic movements, combined with the uplifting music, will invigorate your body, release endorphins, and leave you feeling revitalized and refreshed.
4. Community and Connection: Ecstatic Dance offers you the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for movement, self-expression, and personal growth. It is a supportive and non-judgmental community where you can explore your authentic self and create meaningful connections.

Rediscover the joy of movement, embrace the freedom within, and embark on a truly uplifting and transformative journey!

What kind of dancing is Ecstatic Dance? Dance is not really the term - you are moving your body freely in response to the music. Maybe standing and swaying.. doing a jig, swirling, jumping up and down.. shaking the tight out of your body.. lying down and wiggling your legs and arms up and down.. stretching and clapping.. etc.

Who are the facilitators? Ren@Zen Healing Wellness Studio and husband Mark Day (Sacred Mantra Tattoo) are based in Killorglin and have been passionate conscious dancers for over 25 years. "Conscious dancing has been powerful in helping us de-stress, relax and switch off busy minds to Live & Love Life fully together. We’re excited to bring this magic healing modality to you.”
